Laboratory

LSDP School has the lab which is used by the students. The lab is fully equipped with every kind of modern apparatus required for the AISSCE Practical Examinations as prescribed by the CBSE. The lab is also well stocked with models, Chart and other apparatus required for the proper understanding. It is well equipped with all the required apparatus, chemicals, salts and the reagents used to perform the practical. It is airy and well ventilated. Students take keen interest while performing the experiment and the teachers are extra vigilant to guide the students. There is a separate chamber to provide first aid to the students in case of emergency. It is also enriched with water bath, binocular microscope, Ph meter, sphygmomanometer, original human skelton and models. All these material are arranged systematically inside the lab at the easy reach of the students.

Computer Labs

It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of students, teachers and curriculum. The computers in the lab has upgraded softwares to enable students to learn latest multimedia and programming applications. The lab also has facilities of projector and interactive board through which students understand the programmes in better way.

Library

The school has a newly designed and well-equipped library and children are encouraged to take books home. We always foster a love of books and a keen interest in learning, which we hope parents will encourage at home. We regard books as one of the essential tools for learning. It provides resources and services that support students, staff, families and whānau. Your library’s resources, physical space, and staff have tremendous potential to make a difference to students’ achievement, educational equity, and their social and emotional well-being. The purpose of LSDP school library is to help every member of your school community — students, staff, families and whānau — gain new knowledge, skills, and dispositions for learning and personal development that they will use throughout their lives.

Transportation

School rickshaw/bus facility, if availed of by guardians, will be for the entire session. In exceptional cases a guardian may discontinue it by giving one month notice or one month transport fee. In case of the school rickshaw/bus does not reach on time due to mechanical breakdown or due to the illness of the puller/ driver, guardians are requested to make their own alternative arrangements. However, the school tries its best to provide satisfactory transport service.

Play Ground

Play is the key to physical, mental, intellectual and social well being of children. It impacts hugely on almost every developmental aspect of children’s lives holistically and with multifaceted ways. Young children spend a reasonable amount of time in school. Besides, for many children, school play time is the most active part of their day. The school playground is an important facility for children to play every day on their own initiative. It puts enormous positive impacts on children’s development and learning. This initiative provides students with the leisure facilities to make primary education livelier and student-friendly.
